Securities and Commercial Arbitration

In today's litigation world, many have recognized that arbitration is a means of resolving disputes that will provide a relatively inexpensive and quick resolution. It is now common for commercial agreements to have arbitration clauses, requiring parties enter into mandatory arbitration for resolution of disputes. There are special rules governing arbitrations.  We handle arbitration proceedings governed by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") Rules, as well as other arbitration systems. If arbitration is an option, we can explain the ramifications of choosing it, and we can represent you or your company in arbitration proceedings.

We have particular experience in claims against broker dealers/brokerage firms, arising out of alleged improper handling of securities accounts. We have been involved in securities arbitration for over 20 years. We have represented many parties in arbitration proceedings before the National Association of Securities Dealers ("NASD") involving claims of alleged lack of suitability, churning, fraud, and statutory violations of securities laws. John Taylor is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association ("PIABA"). We have the knowledge of the stock market and the procedures relating to securities arbitration matters to ably handle these matters.
